Learn to see light when making great portraits on location, with Michael Wayne Plant.

Michael Wayne Plant is a professional photographer, who for the past five years has been teaching photography at various colleges. Michael has over 20 years of experience of working as a photographer and has worked internationally creating fashion and editorial portrait photography for a wide range of clients. His new photographic workshop, in location portrait photography will assist you in learning, how to make great portraits. You will learn through a combination of practice and demonstration, observing how to make images. You will also get experience of working with models/subjects who have experience of being photographed.

At the end of the workshop, you will have a good understand how to see light, how to pose and move your subjects and have a clear idea of what makes a great photographic portrait image and knowledge of how to make one.

This exciting two day photographic workshop, will held over the weekend of the 12th  and 13th of April 2014 starting at 10am finishing at 4:30pm on both days.



What will you learn on this photographic workshop?

You will be able to make photographic portraits with confidence, using reflectors, being able to pose models (your subjects), correctly set your exposure and depth of field for high impact photographic portraits.

How will I learn portrait photography?

You will be taught by demonstration and through practical exercises and on day two you will be working with models to allow you to be free to concentrate on making portrait images working in groups of no more then four per model you will have plenty of time to practice the techniques that you have learnt with Michael Wayne Plant.

What do I need to bring to the workshop?

You will bring your digital camera with any lens you have, spare batteries, fresh memory cards (that have been reformatted, we would also suggest that you have more than one), any reflectors or lighting modifiers that you want to experiment with.
